In the final stages of mum's life, I was caring for her from home. Facing a move myself and being a mum, my gp surgery Mocketts Woods Surgery Dr Reddy, care coordinator Kirsty, who is a lovely woman wanted to ensure I was looked after also.
She arranged for Age UK Thanet Ltd to deliver me and family hot food and packed lunches daily. These were so helpful and ensured I ate real food. However all our meals were always eaten. I couldn't bear wasting this food and have already donated these in my community to those who are homeless or in need.
This is what I did for appearances 54-58 and would like to highlight each donation.
54. 3 packed lunches left next to someone sleeping under a duvet
55. 2 packed lunches given to a lady asking for food money in bars on high street. She was so thankful she cried which made me and my son very emotional and happy to have helped the young lady. Wonder how a young kind lady ended up homeless Mister Regency International 23/24: Jacob-Clarke
56. Two elderly gentlemen begging for money outside the shop. They were given 2 pack lunch bags each. Unfortunately drinking beer was still happy to help them.
57. Driving along the seafront see a group of 5 with some homeless belongings, again sadly drinking but even more reason to help with food, as is needed when drinking.
58. Main hot meal (although had cool down could easily be re heated) and a custard based dessert given to the man outside Tesco asking for food.
Not all hero's wear capes and not all queen's wear sashes and crowns. When feeding the homeless it's hard to get appearances photos.
Heading to internationals Miss Universal Global Pageant
Still using 1ru sash awaiting queens sash.
