A Little Message From Our UK Miss Elegance Of The World Ambassador Grace Smithen !
Mental Health Foundation (Mental Health) is really important during these times. It’s important to use your one daily exercise a day even if it’s to walk around the block.
Grace Smithen is lucky enough that her home is a 1 minute walk from the beach so everyday she has her daily walk along the beach.
She always carry's a carrier bag with her and whilst walking she collects litter and puts it in the bin on her way home.
It’s really important to keep our beaches clean. It helps improve the coastal and ocean ecosystem by making sure that none of the rubbish harms marine life or is toxic enough to disrupt the marine life cycle.
This is her way of helping whilst out in these difficult times on her daily walk. If everyone took a bag out on their daily walk, even if it’s around your own road, and collected any rubbish then I’m sure we’d have cleaned up the streets and beaches in no time!

“This weekend our UK Ambassador Grace Smithen decided to challenge herself to learn a new skill and all for an amazing cause!
She ordered some knitting needles and wool, went on YouTube and I taught herself how to knit! She had never attempted it before so wasn’t sure how it was going to go but she actually picked it up ok!
She had heard about ‘The Innocent Big Knit’ which you might have seen before! It’s where thousands of people knit and donate the little hats that go on the innocent smoothie bottles. Once sold part of the sale price is donated to Age UK!
The Innocent Big Knit started in 2003 and has raised 2.5 million so far for Age UK all through the donation of people making the little hats!
So Grace Smithen decided to learn a new skill and all for a good cause whilst we’re in lockdown. Here are her first two little hats ready for donation and she's already started on the next one!”
